Yevgenia Khasis, convicted of complicity in the murder of Stanislav Markelov and Anastasia Baburova, has been released after serving her sentence in a penal colony.

Yevgenia Khasis has been released from a women's colony in Mordovia, previously convicted for the murder of lawyer Stanislav Markelov and Novaya Gazeta correspondent Anastasia Baburova. Footage of the freed Khasis was published by the TV channels Izvestia, 112, and REN TV.
