The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow has received a petition to select a preventive measure in the form of detention for 22-year-old Leonid Kats, a master's student at the Higher School of Economics. According to Mediazona, the young man is accused of state treason under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code.
