Russian authorities intend to freeze financial accounts and deny access to consular support for citizens residing abroad if they are accused in politically motivated criminal cases.

The parliamentary commission investigating cases of foreign interference in Russia's internal affairs has completed the development of legislative initiatives. These bills introduce restrictive measures for individuals involved in certain criminal and administrative proceedings who have left the country.
