In Russia, a criminal case on state treason has been initiated for the first time against a serviceman participating in combat operations on the territory of Ukraine.

The Southern District Military Court has begun hearing a criminal case under the article on state treason (Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code). The accused is 26-year-old Anton Kuruu, a native of Tuva, who served in the military and participated in Russian military operations on the territory of Ukraine. The publication "Siberia. Realities" drew attention to this court proceeding.
