Ukrainian anti-corruption law enforcement agencies have announced the initiation of a case related to an attempt to bribe members of parliament. According to the report, the aim of these actions was to counter the head of one of the parliamentary factions. As noted by some media outlets, the case may concern politician Yulia Tymoshenko.

According to information disseminated by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO), a criminal case has been initiated against the head of a parliamentary faction in the Verkhovna Rada on suspicion of corruption. The charges have been brought under Part 4 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
