Another criminal case has been opened against Lydia Prudovskaya, a resident of the Arkhangelsk region — this time under Article 127 of the Criminal Code for unlawful deprivation of liberty not involving abduction. She was previously convicted in absentia on charges of discrediting the army (Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code). This information was confirmed to "Novaya Gazeta Europe" by Prudovskaya herself.
