In Tyumen, security forces interrupted the self-organization festival “Everyone Will Be Taken Into the Future.” The organizers reported this in the event’s Telegram channel.

The festival was scheduled for April 4 and 5, but on the very first day armed people in masks arrived at the venue. “Yes, yes, the event was disrupted,” feminist activist Aisyn Gaysa said, as reported by “7x7.”

According to “Novaya-Evropa,” security forces checked the phones of everyone present — they were interested in anti-war posts and suspicious correspondence. Later, the participants were released without any reports being filed.

At first, the festival’s social media accounts posted a message about the cancellation of a live recording of the podcast “Eto bazis” about the future of labor, and later the organizers said that the second day of the event had also been canceled.

“Everyone Will Be Taken Into the Future” was presented as a space for local initiatives. The festival program included, among other things, public talks on regional feminist initiatives, individual solutions to the climate crisis, and the future through the lens of street art.

On Saturday in Tyumen, officers from OMON and Center “E,” as well as representatives of the “Russian Community,” disrupted a punk concert at the bar “Khizhina lesnika,” deciding that it was connected to the “Tyumen case.”
