On the night of April 28, Ukrainian drones again attacked the Russian city of Tuapse, where an oil marine terminal and an oil refinery are located. ASTRA and the Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+ reported this. It was the third strike in the past two weeks.

According to media reports, the tank farm was hit, and a fire broke out afterward. Local residents told "Ostorozhno, novosti" that the drone attack lasted for several hours. The local operational headquarters says there were no dead or injured.
"The night was terrifying. Now huge black columns of smoke are hanging over the city. It smells like burning. People are mostly walking without respirators or in medical masks. They say they have gotten used to it and can no longer smell it: that is very dangerous," "Kedr" writes.
The regional governor said that "for the safety of residents of homes located near the refinery, an evacuation is currently being carried out."
Context . Ukrainian drones had already attacked Tuapse on April 16 and 20. After the first strike, a fire broke out at the marine terminal, and oil products entered the river. The fire was extinguished on April 19. On the same day, the regional operational headquarters reported that the spill had been contained.
After the strikes on the night of April 20, a second fire broke out at the marine terminal. Oil products also entered the Black Sea, forming an oil slick covering 10,000 square meters. The fire was extinguished only on April 24. The city experienced "oil rains." Rospotrebnadzor advised residents not to leave their homes, but schools in Tuapse did not cancel classes.
Reuters had previously written that the Tuapse oil refinery had been forced to suspend oil processing from April 16 after a Ukrainian drone attack. After the April 20 strike, "Novaya-Europe" recorded that not a single ship entered the port.
