In Russia’s Bryansk Region, a Ukrainian drone attacked a bus carrying a children’s football team from Gomel, acting regional head Egor Kovalchuk said.

According to him, a woman accompanying the team was killed in the strike. Six others, including four children, were injured and hospitalized. They suffered shrapnel wounds, Russian children’s ombudswoman Maria Lvova-Belova said. The remaining passengers will be sent home.

According to Russia’s Investigative Committee, there were 44 people on the bus, including 28 children. All of them were traveling to Gelendzhik for vacation.

The Investigative Committees of Russia and Belarus opened criminal cases on charges of a terrorist attack. Belarus’ Foreign Ministry condemned the attack and demanded “comprehensive explanations” from Ukraine.

As of now, the Ukrainian authorities have not commented on the reports of the strike on the bus in Bryansk Region.
