Today, Ukrainian forces struck several bridges linking Crimea with the Kherson region. This was reported by Vladimir Saldo, the Russia-appointed head of the occupied part of the Kherson region.

According to him, the bridges across the North Crimean Canal near Preobrazhenka and Myrne, the road bridge on the Perekop — Armyansk route, and a bridge near the village of Stavky came under attack. Saldo said the strikes caused damage to the bridges.

Statements from the Ukrainian side. Later, Dmytro Filatov, commander of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo, said in an interview with Suspilne that Ukrainian forces in Armyansk had managed to hit a convoy of 50 Russian trucks. Some of the vehicles were destroyed.

In addition, because of the attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces, bridges in Henichesk and Chongar in the Kherson region were closed. Vazhnye Istorii writes that an exception was made for military transport passing through Chongar.

Are any bridges still intact? The 1st Separate Assault Regiment claims that after the Ukrainian attacks, not a single undamaged bridge remains connecting Crimea with the Kherson region.

At the same time, Saldo announced today that it is possible to travel from the Kherson region to Crimea through Armyansk via the routes “Novooleksiivka — Askania-Nova — Chaplynka — Myrne — Armyansk” and “Novooleksiivka — Hromovka — Chaplynka — Myrne — Armyansk”.
