Olga Mirimskaya, a former member of Russia’s richest women ranking, has been released from prison

A court in the Kaluga Region granted Olga Mirimskaya’s petition for parole on its first review, Vedomosti reported, citing its own sources.

According to the newspaper, the decision was made back in April, but it has become known only now. Mirimskaya spent 4.5 years in prison.

Who is Mirimskaya. Olga Mirimskaya is the former head of BKF Bank and a former co-owner of the company Russky Produkt. In 2015, she ranked 22nd in Forbes Women magazine’s list of Russia’s richest women.

The Mirimskaya case. In 2021, the businesswoman was detained in a case involving a bribe to an investigator who was handling the case of the abduction of her daughter, who was born to a surrogate mother.

Later, Mirimskaya was also charged in two episodes of attempted bribery of judges who took part in proceedings over the division of the entrepreneur’s property with her former husband, businessman Alexei Golubovich.

In 2024, Mirimskaya was sentenced to 19 years in prison, but in late December 2025 the term was reduced to eight years and nine months.
