Last night, the AFU struck Cheboksary, Samara, Vladimir Oblast, and annexed Crimea. Novaya Gazeta Europe reports on which sites on Russian territory became targets of the Ukrainian army.

Cheboksary. According to Chuvashia head Oleg Nikolaev, the republic's capital came under a missile attack by the AFU. He later уточнил that three people were injured as a result of the strike: they sustained light and moderate injuries. He did not say which specific sites were damaged.

As Astra and Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channels found out, the target was the VNIIR-Progress enterprise, which supplies radio-electronic products to the Defense Ministry. According to their data, the administrative building was seriously damaged, and the fire there is still ongoing.

VNIIR-Progress has not become a target of Ukrainian attacks for the first time. The previous one occurred on the night of May 5. At that time, at least one AFU drone hit a residential building, killing two people and injuring another 35.

Samara. A missile and drone alert was also declared in Samara Oblast, as evidenced by publications from Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev. As Astra learned, the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery caught fire in Samara after the attack. This is one of the city's largest oil enterprises and is part of Rosneft's structure. The AFU had already attacked it before; the most recent such strike was carried out in August 2025.

Later, Fedorishchev reported that damage was recorded at several enterprises in the region. Three people were injured.

Vladimir Oblast. As Governor Alexander Avdeev reported, two infrastructure facilities caught fire in the Kameshkovsky and Alexandrovsky districts after the attack. He did not specify what kind of facilities they were.

Astra established that the fire started at the Vtorovo oil pumping station near Vladimir. In addition, according to the Ukrainian project Exilenova+, the Lobkovo oil pumping station on the border with Moscow Oblast and Sergiyev Posad was also hit.

Crimea. On the annexed peninsula, the panorama "The Defense of Sevastopol of 1854-1855" caught fire after the AFU strike, said Mikhail Razvozhaev, the Russia-appointed head of the city. He emphasized that the strike was deliberate.

"The situation is extremely difficult: it is already clear that Franz Roubaud's great masterpiece has been practically destroyed," the official said. He did not report any casualties.

The fire was assigned the fourth difficulty level out of five possible. According to Razvozhaev, more than 80 people and 22 pieces of equipment are working at the scene.
