Nearly 800 cars are waiting in line at the Crimean Bridge on the side of annexed Kerch. This was reported by a Telegram channel that publishes оперативную information about the situation at the bridge.

According to the report, the waiting time is about three hours. The queue on the Crimea side has been observed since at least 9 a.m. By 4:00 p.m., 798 cars were in line.

Gasoline shortage in Crimea. The fuel deficit on the peninsula began in late May after Ukrainian Armed Forces drones attacked the Novorossiya highway, which connects Rostov-on-Don and Simferopol through occupied territories.

Later, the Russian-appointed authorities introduced restrictions: AI-95 gasoline began to be sold only with coupons. AI-92 gasoline can be purchased without a coupon, but no more than 20 liters per person. Since yesterday, cash sales of gasoline have also been halted on the peninsula.

In the neighboring Krasnodar region, no limits on gasoline sales have been introduced so far.

The situation in the regions. According to journalists' latest estimates, restrictions on gasoline sales have been introduced in at least 15 regions of Russia. These include Moscow, the Moscow region, and St. Petersburg. Restrictions have also appeared at gas stations in the Kursk, Tomsk, Voronezh, Belgorod, Pskov, and Murmansk regions, as well as in the occupied "LNR".

Reasons. The fuel shortage is linked to Ukraine's attacks on oil refineries. By conservative estimates, oil refining capacity totaling about 77 million tons per year is currently shut down or operating under restrictions in Russia. As Novaya-Europe calculated, this is nearly one-third (29%) of the country's total oil refining.
