A Russian drone crashed into a 10-story residential building in the Romanian city of Galati, the country’s Defense Ministry said.
After the strike, the roof and one apartment caught fire; a woman and a 14-year-old teenager were injured, local media write. About 70 people were evacuated from the building.
Romania’s Foreign Ministry asked NATO allies to speed up the transfer of anti-drone systems.

Volgograd. Ukrainian drones attacked the Volgograd region, Governor Andrey Bocharov said. A multi-story apartment building in Volgograd, an energy facility, a synthetic fiber plant, and a chemical enterprise in Volzhsky came under attack. One person was killed and two others were injured. ASTRA and Ukrainian monitoring channels write that the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery was hit.
Yaroslavl. In the Yaroslavl region, Ukrainian drones attacked industrial fuel storage facilities, Governor Mikhail Evraev said. A fire broke out, and rescue workers are operating at the scene. Traffic on the way out of Yaroslavl toward Moscow was temporarily blocked, but has now been restored.
Kuban. In Temryuk in Krasnodar Krai, a fire broke out on the grounds of the seaport after UAV debris fell there, the regional оперативный штаб said. No one was injured; 47 rescuers and 14 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
Bryansk region. One person was killed after a drone strike on the village of Solovyovka in the Bryansk region, acting Governor Yegor Kovalchuk said.
Belgorod region. Five people were injured over the past day as a result of Ukrainian attacks on the Belgorod region, acting Governor Alexander Shuvaev said.
Odesa region. Russian drones attacked the dry cargo ship ANT, which was sailing from a port in the Odesa region to Turkey under the flag of Vanuatu with cargo on board, the Ukrainian Navy reports. The agency уточнили that the vessel belongs to Turkey. Two crew members were injured.
Kherson region. At least 13 people were injured over the past day as a result of Russian strikes on the Kherson region, the regional administration said.
Zaporizhzhia region. Four people were wounded as a result of Russian shelling of the Zaporizhzhia region, regional administration head Ivan Fedorov said.
Dnipropetrovsk region. One person was injured in the shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said.
