June 20 saw a Ukrainian drone attack on the Tyumen, also known as the Antipinsky, oil refinery. This was reported by Tyumen Region Governor Aleksandr Moor.
According to him, the attack was repelled. The regional head said nobody was injured and the plant’s employees were evacuated.

The Telegram channel Astra, citing local residents, reported that at least two explosions were heard in the Antipino neighborhood, where the refinery is located.
Serhiy Sternenko, an adviser to Ukraine’s defense minister, confirmed that the intended target in Tyumen was the local refinery.
The outlet notes that this was at least the second known Ukrainian drone attack on Tyumen. The first was reported in October 2025.
The Tyumen refinery is described as Russia’s largest independent oil refinery. Its production capacity is 7.5 million tons of oil per year.
Earlier in June, the facility was hit by a major fire. At that time, authorities separately stressed that the blaze was not caused by a drone attack. Tyumen is located nearly 2,000 kilometers from the border between Russia and Ukraine.
