Workshops of a former chalk plant in Alekseyevka destroyed after strike in Belgorod region

In Russia’s Belgorod region, workshops of a former chalk plant in Alekseyevka were destroyed in a Ukrainian missile strike. The report was published by Pepel.

According to the Telegram channel, the plant building was almost completely destroyed in the attack. Data from the SPARK business registry shows that the plant in Alekseyevka has not been operating for nearly a year. It remains unclear what, if anything, is currently located on the site.

The outlet also noted that the workshops of the former enterprise had already come under Ukrainian attack earlier this summer.

At the same time, Belgorod regional authorities reported one injured person in the Rakityansky district. Officials said the victim was a fighter from the Orlan unit who suffered a shrapnel wound to the temple after a drone detonated.

According to the regional authorities, damage was also recorded in Novaya Tavolzhanka, Shebekino, and Grayvoron. Buildings, vehicles, and commercial properties were affected there.

In addition, Pepel, citing satellite images, reported fires at a military training ground near Veydelevka. The outlet said military equipment and soldiers’ tents had been located there.

The publication says Ukrainian drones attacked that facility last Saturday, June 19.
