The Pskov City Court has fined local activist and Yabloko party member Ivan Prishchepa under an administrative charge related to the dissemination of extremist symbols.
The press service of the courts of the Pskov Region reported the decision. According to its account, the case was based on Navalny headquarters symbolism found on Prishchepa’s VK page.
The court clarified that the material in question was a video recording displaying the phrase “Navalny 20!8”.
Russian authorities designated Navalny’s headquarters an extremist movement in June 2021. The court’s press service did not specify the amount of the fine imposed on Prishchepa.
According to the administrative case file, the hearing on the protocol took place on June 23, one day before the court announcement was published.

As Sever.Realii writes, Prishchepa had previously run in elections to the Pskov City Duma. He also worked for the regional state committee for construction and housing and utilities, and later moved to the regional Capital Repairs Fund.
