A Pantsir air defense system was reportedly deployed on the roof of a residential building in Moscow’s Chertanovo district. The claim was made by the Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+.
Footage published by the channel appears to show a helicopter hovering above the Avenue 77 residential complex, described as the tallest building in the area. An unidentified object is suspended from the aircraft by cables and is said to be lifted onto the roof.
According to ASTRA, a platform intended for air defense systems had already been installed on the same high-rise a week earlier.

Last week, residents of Chertanovo and Veshnyaki also reported seeing helicopters that were believed to be transporting platforms for air defense systems. Several days before that, Ukrainian forces launched a record number of drones toward Russia. The Moscow Oil Refinery was described as the main target.
Air defense on high-rises
Since late May, at least four videos have appeared showing air defense systems being installed on Moscow high-rise buildings, including residential ones. The outlet Agentstvo wrote that placing missile systems on such buildings could turn them into military targets and increase potential risks for civilians.
OSINT analyst Kirill Mikhailov told Agentstvo that Ukraine has not so far practiced destroying air defense systems at such a distance from the front line. At the same time, he said local residents could face danger from falling debris and possible malfunction of the air defense systems themselves.
