The judicial panel for criminal cases of the Zabaykalsky Krai Court has increased the prison term for a Chita resident convicted in a case over organizing the activities of an “extremist” organization. The court’s press service reported this.
The published release indicates that the defendant is 23-year-old entrepreneur Tatyana Zorina. In March, the Ingodinsky District Court of Chita sentenced her to four years in a general-regime penal colony, but that term has now been raised to six years and two months.
The court said that the physical evidence in the case included six corsets, hip pads, and a breast prosthesis.
Zorina was tried as the owner of the Jackson night club, which security forces raided in October 2024. By that time, the venue was operating privately, and entry was possible only by phone call.
In the court materials, Jackson is described as a gay club. The Investigative Committee, for its part, alleged that Zorina had organized the club’s work
“for the purpose of promoting the ideology of an international public association banned in the Russian Federation and increasing its membership”
During the investigation, the entrepreneur was held under house arrest.
