Galustyan presented Putin with the TV project “Battle of Drones”

Comedian and producer Mikhail Galustyan presented a new television show titled “Battle of Drones” during a meeting with Vladimir Putin. The exchange took place at the Popular Front forum “Everything for Victory!” at the Russia National Center.

According to Galustyan, the program will focus on UAV operators. He said filming is planned in “the most beautiful places in the country,” and participants are expected to include fighters from the “special military operation,” students, bloggers, and celebrities.

“When I was offered the role of host for this show, I was upset because I wanted to be a participant, to try controlling all this myself, but they told me: ‘Misha, leave that to the professionals and get ready to be the host,’” Galustyan said.

He also invited Putin to watch the upcoming program. The president wished the project success and said that “propaganda is an extremely important thing.”

Other statements at the forum

At the same event, Putin said Russians had voluntarily transferred nearly 70 billion rubles through the All-Russia People’s Front to support the war. He added that Russia continues to strengthen its financial system, improve its army, and achieve new results in the defense-industrial sector.

Putin also again said that Russian troops were “continuing to move forward” along the line of combat contact. At the same time, he acknowledged that Ukrainian attacks were creating “certain temporary problems with petroleum products.” He said he was confident the situation would soon improve thanks to the “powerful fundamental base of Russian energy,” and added that Russia is creating a new system for supplying petroleum products to Crimea. He did not specify how it would work or when it would begin operating.
