The FSB says Ukrainian rapper Kyivstoner, whose real name is Albert Vasilyev, was involved in preparing a drone attack on an enterprise in the Moscow region. The report was carried by TASS, citing security services.
According to the agency, the target was an unnamed “strategic enterprise”. The FSB claims the strike was supposed to involve 35 FPV drones equipped with “Canadian control systems”.
The security service also said that all of the drones were allegedly shot down after launch. It further claimed that the aircraft had been smuggled in with the assistance of European intelligence services.
Investigators say that two Moldovan citizens and Kyivstoner were involved in organizing the attack. However, the authorities did not specify what role the musician allegedly played.
The report also says that the suspected executor of the attack was detained. The tenant of a warehouse where the drones were allegedly stored was killed, according to the security services.
Kyivstoner is known as a Ukrainian blogger and former member of the group Griby. The report says he is now living in Slovakia with his family.
