At least 10 people were injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on the Moscow region, Governor Andrey Vorobyov said. According to him, seven people were hurt in Domodedovo, two women were injured in Podolsk, and another victim was an 11-year-old girl from the Odintsovo district.
The outlet ASTRA reported five fire sites in the Moscow region. According to those reports, the attack set fire to TsNIITochMash, an oil depot in Podolsk, a warehouse in the Yuzhnye Vrata industrial park, and an apartment building in Domodedovo.
There were also reports of fires at Wildberries and Ozon warehouses in Podolsk, but those claims were not confirmed. Wildberries’ press service denied them. Russia’s Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article on terrorism.
Other reports of overnight strikes
In Zaporizhzhia, regional administration head Ivan Fedorov said Russian aerial bomb strikes killed three people and injured 78. Three of the wounded are in serious condition. Four main impact sites were recorded: two at production and storage facilities and two in residential areas. Seventy-nine apartment buildings were damaged.
In Odesa, the Ukrainian sea ports administration said at least 10 people were killed in a Russian strike on a merchant vessel. The cargo ship, sailing under the flag of Guinea-Bissau, was carrying corn; on board were 17 crew members from Syria and India and a Ukrainian pilot. Eight people were rescued, and the fire on the vessel was contained.
Authorities in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions also reported new casualties and damage after Russian strikes. In addition, officials in Russia’s Bryansk and Belgorod regions said Ukrainian attacks there caused deaths and injuries.
