Russian authorities have launched a criminal investigation against blogger Alexander Kirillov, known online as Alex Leslie, charging him with inciting rape (Article 33 Part 4 and Article 131 Part 1 of Russia's Criminal Code), according to an official statement.
Investigators allege Kirillov encouraged his audience to sexually assault women in Moscow and record these acts. His current detention status remains unclear.
The case follows Kirillov's June 20 Telegram post announcing "physical training" sessions for male followers, where he shared access to a private group. There, he allegedly instructed participants to grope women in public and proposition them for sex.
Multiple Moscow women subsequently reported being harassed in this manner. Victims claim police ignored their complaints, and bystanders failed to intervene during the incidents.
