Meshchansky District Court of Moscow has ordered the arrest in absentia of former Fesco co-owner Mikhail Rabinovich and the company’s former president Arkady Korostelyov. RBC drew attention to the ruling.
According to the outlet, a criminal case has been opened against them over embezzlement on an especially large scale. Investigators believe Rabinovich organized a group that allegedly stole 885 million rubles from the Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port.
RBC previously reported that in February the same court placed former Fesco board chairman Andrei Severilov and vice president for production development Boris Ivanov in pretrial detention. The publication said they are also defendants in the same case.
According to the version of events cited by RBC, in May 2022 Fesco top managers created a company called Vladporttrans that carried out no real business activity and then sold it on behalf of VMTP at an inflated price. Investigators believe the scheme generated 885 million rubles, which were transferred to an account belonging to Denis Rusanov, co-owner of the Moscow company Informtekhtrans.
At the same time, the Interior Ministry estimates the real value of the asset at 100 million rubles, RBC reported. The outlet added that Rusanov has been placed on an international wanted list, along with Rabinovich and Korostelyov.
Mediazona also noted that on July 16, 2026, Meshchansky District Court ordered Rusanov’s arrest in absentia in the same embezzlement case.
