Firefighter Sergei Genin, who was found guilty of negligence in the 2018 Winter Cherry shopping mall fire, has passed away in Kemerovo. According to a TASS report citing sources close to the deceased, Genin died in a local hospital where he had been receiving intensive care in his final days.
