Representatives of the United Russia faction in the State Duma have developed a legislative initiative aimed at tightening penalties for placing advertisements on internet platforms banned in Russia, such as Instagram and Facebook. According to the draft, fines for individuals are proposed to be increased from 2.5 thousand rubles to 80 thousand, and for organizations—from 500 thousand rubles to 1 million.
