KAMAZ has implemented new food restrictions for workers at its Naberezhnye Chelny facilities, according to company news sources.
Employees are now prohibited from bringing in purchased meals or store-bought food items. The only exceptions are homemade meals in personal containers intended for individual consumption.
Company officials cite security concerns behind these measures, referencing potential "mass poisoning risks" and "sabotage attempts" due to the current geopolitical climate surrounding the Ukraine conflict.
While Tatarstan has experienced multiple Ukrainian drone strikes, the KAMAZ plant's location in Naberezhnye Chelny has remained unaffected by such attacks, as reported by RBC.
