Karol Nawrocki, a right-wing Euroskeptic politician representing the Law and Justice party, has emerged victorious in Poland's presidential runoff election. Official results from the national electoral authority show he secured 50.89% of votes.
His opponent Rafal Trzaskowski, Warsaw's current mayor and the liberal Civic Coalition's candidate, received 49.11% support. Voter participation reached 71.63% in this decisive second round.
