Artem Fuze Brovkov, the founder and frontman of the group Krec, died in a car accident. His wife, Valentina Berezkina, reported this. The artist was 46.
“It is very hard for me to write this, but Artyom is no longer with us. A few hours ago he was in a terrible accident, the doctors did everything they could, but they were unable to save him,” the rapper’s partner said.
Artem Brovkov was born in St. Petersburg. In 2021, he founded the group Krec together with beatmaker Marat. At different times, Assai and Smoky Mo were also members of the group.
Over the course of its existence, the group released nine studio albums. One of its tracks, the song “Nezhnost,” became part of the soundtrack for the film “Piter FM.”
In 2022, Brovkov Fuze spoke out against the war and left Russia for the United States. In March 2025, the Justice Ministry added the rapper to the “foreign agents” registry. He later tried to challenge that status, but unsuccessfully.
