Eighteen-year-old Said Murtazaliyev from Dagestan reportedly signed a military contract under duress after being tortured, according to investigative findings. The young man later informed relatives that his commanding officers had issued death threats against him before mysteriously disappearing. These allegations appear in Dozhd's documentary titled "Neither the Living Nor the Dead."
