On July 20, Russian forces launched 57 assault drones against Ukraine, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 18 and disrupting or losing track of seven others, according to the Ukrainian Air Force (AFU).
The attacks targeted Zaporizhzhia as well as frontline areas in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Ukrainian emergency services reported casualties, including a 78-year-old woman killed in a residential area of Sumy region. In Kherson region, two people were wounded by Russian strikes on the outskirts of Kherson city. Additionally, a pensioner sustained injuries in Zaporizhzhia region, as confirmed by local authorities.
