Renowned Russian actress Natalia Tenyakova, honored with the title of People's Artist of Russia, has passed away at 80. The Chekhov Moscow Art Theater announced the sad news, describing her death as "a profound loss that shakes us to our core."

She also made memorable film appearances, notably as Lida Ryazayeva in "Big Sister" (1966), Baba Shura in the beloved comedy "Love and Doves" (1984), Evdokia Stolnikova in the detective series "Investigation Leads Experts" (1985, episode "Fire"), and Maria Kirillovna Obrezkova in the drama "The Frenchman" (2019).
