A Russian missile attack on a military training facility in Ukraine's Sumy region left six dead and ten wounded, according to the Ukrainian National Guard.
The strike occurred during a training session at the unit's firing range, officials stated. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, and the unit's commander has been temporarily relieved of duty.
The National Guard stressed that protocols for responding to air strikes had been previously established, including safety measures to avoid personnel clustering and security breaches. All necessary guidelines had been distributed to troops beforehand.
