In a number of major Russian cities, protests are taking place against the restriction of calls through Telegram and WhatsApp messengers.

In Novosibirsk, Omsk, and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, public actions in support of freedom of speech and the internet are being held in coordination with the administration. The initiators of these events are left-wing activists from the RCP(i), who had previously announced their organization.
