The head of Novaya Kakhovka was dismissed for "inappropriate conduct" after a video surfaced showing him using profanity near a memorial honoring war heroes.

Vladimir Saldo, the Russian-appointed leader of the occupied Kherson region, has removed Novaya Kakhovka's town head Vitaliy Guru from his position. Saldo announced the dismissal through his Telegram channel.

The Russian-installed official stated that Guru had engaged in "inappropriate and disgraceful conduct unbecoming of a government representative" near a World War II memorial. Additionally, the occupation administration in Kherson revoked Guru's membership in the United Russia political party.
