According to a joint investigation by The Insider and Der Spiegel, a number of individuals from Chechnya with ties to Ramzan Kadyrov were able to legally settle in Germany on humanitarian grounds. Following this, they engaged in entrepreneurial activities in the logistics sector, which provided them with access to key German infrastructure facilities.
