The Agency has observed that the Tikhon Zadonsky private Orthodox gymnasium in Elets has published a selection of suggested patriotic reading materials on its website.
The compilation features 87 titles, encompassing works by Zakhar Prilepin and the anthology "Poetry of Russian Winter." These books had previously been referenced in Russian state media reports discussing the creation of a patriotic literature list for supplementary reading.
When contacted by the Agency, a school representative clarified that the list was not assembled by the gymnasium: "This is a federal document—there's nothing elaborate about it. It's a standardized federal list."
