Russia's Supreme Court has upheld the Justice Ministry's lawsuit seeking to dissolve the Civil Initiative party, according to the party's Telegram channel.

"The ruling was anticipated, yet remains equally unjust. The liquidation order has been issued, with one month to file an appeal," the Civil Initiative stated in its announcement.

The party confirmed plans to challenge the court's decision and emphasized its intention to remain active in the ongoing electoral process, noting this would be crucial for their appeal.

"Today's verdict only strengthens our resolve to intensify our efforts. For 13 years, we've stood by our principles—there's no reason to quit now," Civil Initiative declared.
