The Times has identified thirteen Russian military commanders who, according to the investigation, were involved in committing war crimes in the city of Bucha.

During an investigation conducted by The Sunday Times, the names of thirteen Russian officers who led military units accused of committing war crimes in the Ukrainian city of Bucha were revealed.

The identification of these commanders was carried out by independent lawyers and forensic experts who relied on data from open sources. Ukrainian intelligence agencies confirmed the accuracy of the information about each of the thirteen servicemen. Some of them had previously appeared in journalistic reports.

Under the overall command of these officers, more than eighty servicemen suspected of crimes are officially listed, while many participants in the atrocities remain unidentified. Among the identified commanders mentioned are:

Work on the investigation was conducted using materials provided by the Security Service of Ukraine, the "Dossier" Center, and Ukrainian prosecutors. Additionally, information from social media and other publicly available sources was used.
