Ukrainian authorities report significant casualties following a large-scale Russian military attack. According to officials in Kyiv, the assault has resulted in at least 14 fatalities and over 100 wounded civilians.

Russian forces have carried out a large-scale assault across Ukraine, with Kyiv and Odesa being primary targets.

Kyiv's mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported via Telegram that the attack killed 14 people in the capital. Medical facilities treated 114 injured individuals, with 68 requiring hospitalization while others received immediate care.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko stated the strikes damaged homes, schools, and vital infrastructure. Klitschko noted a residential building entrance collapsed in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district, warning: "People might be trapped in the rubble. The death toll could rise."
