Russian military officials reported that air defense systems intercepted 122 drones across 11 regions of Russia and occupied Crimea during the night of July 17.

The Defense Ministry's breakdown showed the highest number of downed drones occurred in Bryansk Region (43), followed by Kursk Region (38). Other areas included Orel Region (10), Smolensk Region (6), Belgorod Region (5), while Moscow Region, Kaluga Region, and Crimea each saw three interceptions. Leningrad and Lipetsk Regions recorded two drone takedowns each, with one additional drone destroyed over Tula Region.
