A Moscow resident, Solim Kamin, has been sentenced to eight years in a penal colony for posts and comments against the war on the social network VK.

The Basmanny Court of Moscow sentenced local resident Solim Kamin to eight years in a penal colony. He was found guilty under two articles: dissemination of unreliable information about military operations (clause "d" of part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and public calls for actions threatening state security (clauses "v" and "d" of part 3 of article 280.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
