On the night of July 18, Ukrainian drones attacked several Russian regions. According to Tambov region head Yevgeny Pervyshov, the strike hit Kotovsk, where drones struck a Wildberries logistics center.
The governor said that seven night-shift employees were killed in the attack on the warehouse in Kotovsk, while 24 other people were injured. He added that open flames at the site had been extinguished, although firefighting efforts were still continuing.
Wildberries’ press service said the company’s logistics centers in Kotovsk and Elektrostal near Moscow were attacked overnight. The company gave no figures for deaths or injuries at the warehouse in the Moscow region, saying only that the fire there was still ongoing.
The outlet Astra had earlier reported a fire at an oil depot in Noginsk; the Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+ reported the same. Soon after, Moscow region governor Andrei Vorobyov confirmed a drone attack on the region and said an oil depot in Noginsk was on fire.
According to Vorobyov, a nearby maternity hospital was evacuated for safety reasons. In total, 26 people were injured in the drone attack on the Moscow region: two in Noginsk, and 24 more on the grounds of the Wildberries warehouse in Elektrostal after drones fell there. The governor added that some of the injured were in serious condition.
Separately, Vladimir region governor Aleksandr Avdeyev said that in Vladimir a drone hit an apartment in a residential building, causing a fire. According to preliminary data, no one was injured there.
