As a result of the collision of high-speed trains in Spain, 39 people were killed and more than 150 were injured.

On the evening of January 18, a collision occurred in the Spanish province of Córdoba, located in the south of the country. Two trains were involved: a train from the company Iryo, traveling from Málaga to Madrid, and a train from the operator Alvia (part of the Renfe group), traveling on the route from Madrid to Huelva.
