Twenty-six people injured in Russian attack on Dnipropetrovsk region

On the night of May 18, Ukraine came under a massive attack, and 26 people were injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Apartment buildings, private homes, a higher education institution, an enterprise, and other structures were damaged, according to regional military administration head Oleksandr Hanzha.

Those injured included a two-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy. Eight people were hospitalized.

Other attacks

In Odesa, two people were wounded in a drone attack. Several residential buildings were damaged in the Prymorskyi and Kyivskyi districts, including historic buildings in the city center.

Attacks were also reported on the Chernihiv district, located near the border with Russia, and on the city of Sumy.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian forces launched 524 drones and 22 missiles since the evening. Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk said that one of the drones struck an unnamed Chinese merchant vessel in Ukrainian waters.
